A new opinion poll shows a shift in support towards Fianna Fáil at the expense of Sinn Féin.
The Ipsos/MRBI poll for tomorrow's Irish Times also shows a drop in satisfaction with the performance of the Government, and of the leaders of the four main parties.
The poll, which was carried out on Monday and Tuesday, is the first Ipsos/MRBI poll for The Irish Times since May.
It shows Fine Gael support down one to 31%, while Labour gains two to 12%.
Fianna Fáil is up a substantial four points to 21%, at the expense of Sinn Féin, which drops four to 20%. Independents and others are down one to 16%.
Satisfaction with the Government is down six to just 21%, compared to 73% who are dissatisfied, and 6% who do not know.
Satisfaction with all the party leaders is also down.
Enda Kenny drops three to 33%, Eamon Gilmore is down three to 23%, Micheál Martin is down three to 28%, and Gerry Adams drops eight to 29%.
